Three from four smile

Team four, closest to the saddle depression, found the largest number of artifacts, confirming Dr. Clark's prediction about where the highest density of finds would be. His statements, based on landscape, a gentle change in elevation, the proximity of water, and several other factors, amazed but no longer surprised his students. Team four poses with their multi-kilo bag of finds. A beautiful day of digging ends and the next time the group meets they have each created reports based on their notes and finds. Remember, digging is only a very small part of the process. The archaeology starts long before and continues long after the trowel.
